Missions

We are currently working on the mission project, Operation Christmas Child. They are an organization that brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations worldwide through simple gift filled shoes boxes and evangelistic materials that tell the Good News of God's love.  You can get a ready made box at church or use a shoe box of your own. Pick a boy or girl in one of the following age groups: 2-4,5-9 or 10-14 and fill the box with simple toys you can get at the dollar store and include a $7 donation for each box to cover shipping and project costs. They will be collected in church on November 20th.                    For more information please visit:http://www.samaritanspurse.org/index.php/OCC/Pack_A_Shoe_Box/

The Congregation with the help of the Sunday School recently held a flood bucket drive for UMCOR.
There was a tremendous response and many buckets will be shipped to help those in need in other countries.

The entire Congregation chipped in by bringing in supplies needed for Haiti Relief kits and then many volunteers gathered to put together all the kits to
be shipped to UMCOR.

The Sunday School along with the congregation has raised money for Habitat for Humanity, Nothing but Nets and Unicef in the past year. We have also prepared hundreds of kits for Haiti Relief.
